“The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organisation but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights” – Gloria Steinem.

Today is International Women’s Day (IWD)(March 8) – a global day for unity, celebration, reflection, advocacy and action.

The theme for this year’s IWD is #BeBoldForChange. It is a call to action for all people and Governments to help forge a better world for women.

Today we proudly join with our colleagues, members and friends across the world to mark this important human rights day.
