We are so excited to introduce our new NDIA ILC grant funded project WWDA LEAD- Lead, Engage, Activate and Drive.
Over the course of the next two years, the WWDA team will focus on promoting and advancing the leadership, agency, autonomy, human rights and freedoms of women, girls feminine identifying and non-binary people with disabilities, both individually and collectively. We will work with our valued members to create meaningful connections so that women and girls with disabilities have the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to set and achieve their goals and actively contribute to leading and influencing their community. We will also work to strengthen and build our internal capacity through organisational capacity building.
There will be events, webinars, opportunities to showcase your creative talents and apply for leadership scholarships, and ongoing mechanisms to have your voices heard.
Stay tuned for more information as the project develops and please join WWDA (it’s free!) to participate in the project.
